OUR BEST WISHES FOR 2021
From Keinzo Interiores, we wholeheartedly wish you all the best for this coming Christmas and a 2021 full of hope. We especially loved this poem by Walt Whitman, we hope you enjoy it too.
“Don’t Stop”
Don’t let the day end without having grown a little,
without having been happy, without having nurtured your dreams.
Don’t let yourself be overcome by discouragement.
Don’t let anyone take away your right to express yourself,
which is almost a duty.
Don’t give up your longing to make your life something extraordinary.
Don’t stop believing that words and poems
really can change the world.
Whatever happens, our essence remains intact.
We are beings full of passion.
Life is desert and oasis.
It knocks us down, it hurts us,
it teaches us,
it makes us the protagonists
of our own story.
Even when the wind blows against us,
the powerful work goes on:
You can contribute a verse.
Never stop dreaming,
because in dreams man is free.
Don’t fall into the worst of mistakes:
silence.
Most people live in a dreadful silence.
Don’t resign yourself.
Flee.
“I shout my cries over the rooftops of this world”,
says the poet.
Value the beauty of simple things.
Beautiful poetry can be written about small things,
but we cannot row against ourselves.
That turns life into hell.
Enjoy the panic caused by
having your whole life ahead of you.
Live it intensely,
without mediocrity.
Remember that the future is in your hands
and face the task with pride and without fear.
Learn from those who can teach you.
The experiences of those who came before us,
our “dead poets”,
help you make your way through life
Today’s society is us:
The “living poets”.
Don’t let life pass you by without living it …
